back to school week
.: we’re gearing up for another year or so of work, and I can’t wait … and where better to kick things off, than the Bahamas? getting ready to go back on the road is like being back in high school … what do i wear ? (wardrobe people never know how to dress the – not so skinny – ), wonder who the new teachers are ? (you know, the various new people in different positions of authority), hope I remember what I learned in last year’s algebra (well, that’s a stretch, but i have spent the past 3 days going back over all my parts).
the best part is knowing we’ll have new stories to tell, new friends we’ll have met along the way and new places we’ll have visited.
so, i can’t wait ! and ever year around this time, i remind myself how thankful i am that i still get to do this after all these years.
